Daniele Mallari

Daniele brings over 17 years of experience to College Bound, LLC. 

Between her passion for working with youth and her genuine love of seeing others achieve their personal goals, Daniele believes that student’s exploration and self-discovery are essential to finding a college and career path that are a perfect fit for them.  Daniele utilizes her extensive knowledge and experience to create an environment in which students and their families view the college admissions process as an enjoyable time rather than a stressful one.

Daniele completed her bachelor's degree in Elementary & Special Education, from Rhode Island College with honors.  She went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Providence College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.  

Daniele began her career foundation as an elementary and special education teacher in the Woonsocket school system while simultaneously committing her service to AmeriCorps for several years before taking the leap to the secondary level at Johnston Senior High School.

Initially apprehensive of this change, she surprisingly uncovered her true passion for working with high school age students, particularly in their quest to discover themselves and plan for the next phase in higher education.  As a School Counselor Daniele has been given the opportunity to collaborate with hundreds of families as she worked to navigate students through the obstacles of college admissions. 

Daniele is certified in Elementary Education, Elementary & Middle School Special Education, and School Counseling.  In June 2017, she was evaluated and ranked, “Highly Effective” in her School Counseling position at Johnston Senior High School.  

Daniele does not just push her students to achieve the goals they set for themselves,  she holds herself accountable to the same standards.  As a self-proclaimed "Personal Development Junkie" she herself is always striving to live authentically at her best.  Daniele is currently completing her Post Graduate Certificate in College Counseling through UCLA's extension program, as well as working to fulfill the necessary hours needed to meet her Licensed Mental Health Certification (LMHC).   

Although people often wonder how she does it all while wholeheartedly dedicated to raising three children of her own, she is a perfect representation of what happens when you discover your passion; it is truly just built into her nature.  Daniele feels that when you build your career based around what you are passionate about, you never really work at all.
